Free Pattern: Create Mason Jar Hand Embroidery with 3d Flowers

Mason Jar and Flowers Embroidery Pattern by Becky DosseyI know it’s been a month, I’ll post more about that soon. But I wanted to let you know I hadn’t forgotten to make you all a new pattern!! Here it is!! This one works best in a 6-8 inch hoop.  I left the sides of the hoop unfinished because I liked the rustic look of it.   The pattern doesn’t include the little leaves, because like always I wanted to give you space to use your creativity!

For this project I used:

Off White Cotton Fabric

Embroidery floss {full thread}

And Scrapbooking flowers: I used fabric glue to adhere them to the fabric

 To use these patterns:

  • The best way I have found to use the printable patterns is with the Sulky Transfer Pens you trace the reversed pattern, then lay it on your fabric, and dry iron over the paper. AMAZING its on your fabric, and the pattern can be used multiple times.
  • You can also use a pencil on the fabric pulled tight over the correct facing pattern, and trace the pattern onto the fabric.
  • those are my preferred methods of getting printed patterns onto fabric… what are yours??
